Martha H Green

Green, Martha Hester, a long-time resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on October 16, 2012, at the age of 88 years. Visitation will occur on Friday, October 19, 2012, from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with eulogy by Wayne Baker, prayer by Doug Smith, and interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harold Miller Green, her parents, Velma and Walter Hester; five sisters and three brothers. Survivors are her children, Sandra G. Clements (Joseph) Dosset, John Harold (Martha) Green and Gail Green (Jeff) Chapman; eight grandchildren, Julie C. (Tim) Sikes, Jack C. “Tripp” (Elizabeth) Clements, James Tyler Clements, Heath Miller (Misty) Green, Angie Green, Cody Miller Chapman, Cory Meyers Chapman and Cassie Lu Chapman; nine great-grandchildren, Ches, Will and Liz Clements, Sarah Collins Durr, Kaylee and Kason Chapman, Harrison and Owen Green and Sawyer Green; also numerous special nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Pallbearers will be Tripp Clements, Heath Green, Tyler Clements, Cody Chapman, Cory Chapman, Timothy Sikes and honorary pallbearer, James J. Durr.
