Mary Helen Brooks McCord is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert Keith Pouncey and Lila Mae Till Pouncey, her husbands Guy Monroe Brooks and Sherwood McCord, her granddaughter Jordan Brooke Northington, her brothers Charles Keith Pouncey and Robert Calvin Pouncey and her sister Barbara Ann Morgan.
She is survived by her daughters Kathy Autrey (Nick) and Kim Northington (Jay), her brother Douglas Pouncey (Jeanette), her grandchildren Geoge Nick Autrey (Lee), Mary Kathryn Branum (Daniel), Beth Anne McClendon (Spencer), Peyton Leigh Northington; her great grandchildren, Ameila Louise Autrey, Libby Brooks Autrey, Branum George Autrey, Jackson Brooks McClendon and Monroe Autrey McClendon. She had many beloved nieces and nephews and friends.
Pall bearers are George Nick Autrey, Spencer McClendon, Daniel Branum, Daniel Spears, Cole Spears, Jake Nummy, and Wes Nummy.
Mary Helen was a life-long resident of Montgomery. She was a long-time member of Evangel Temple Church.
