Mary is survived by daughter Autrey Elizabeth Dailey; son-in-law Mathew Thomas Dailey; and grandson Andrew Cameron Aaron. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years, Marion Scott Jr. "Hap" and her parents, Clifford and Evelyn Courtney.
A registered nurse, Mrs. Scott was known as an encourager with a gentle spirit and a great sense of humor. She enjoyed sewing and was a good sport especially when watching baseball with her husband. With a natural ability, Mary played the piano for her enjoyment and others entertainment. They attended Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church near their home in Duluth, GA.
A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:30 PM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be made to Special Olympics.
