Pat Stewart, April 26, 1931 – December 25, 2016 passed away peacefully on Christmas Day with her son Geoffrey and his wife Deb by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband Alvin, son Michael and daughter Pam and her parents Leland and Addie Grant. She is survived by her son Geoffrey (Deb) and her grandson Montgomery from Nashville, TN and nieces Leslie Light, Martha Readyoff and Kendall Lisowski in Connecticut. She was a member of First Baptist Church and worked in the preschool ministry from 1970 until 2013 and volunteered in the kitchen for many years. She loved children and has cherished all of the cards and posters the children at First Baptist have made for her since she became home bound in 2014. A visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 10:30AM-12:00PM with a chapel service beginning at 12:00PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to First Baptist Church Preschool Ministry at 305 South Perry Street, Montgomery, AL 36104 or TSCPA Scholarship Fund, 201 Powell Place Brentwood TN 37027.
