Mrs. Worthington was a beloved lady that lived for the Lord and faithful to pray over her family and friends continuously. She served the Lord in the church and the community in various roles for many years. Her work ethic and attention to detail were second to none. Her kindness and servant heart blessed us immensely and positively impacted many people. She enjoyed reading, fishing, Alabama/Elmore County football and following her sons and grandchildren all over the place, alongside her husband, to watch whatever sporting event or activity her babies were doing. Front row is where you would find Big Momma, loudly and proudly cheering for everyone on the team. She loved being a wife and momma, but her favorite title was Big Momma, which is how her grandchildren and many other young people fondly referred to her. We will miss her until we meet her again in heaven, and we are rejoicing that today she is no longer in pain, and in the presence of Jesus.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage you to donate to “Saddle Up for St.Jude”, a charity event for St. Jude Hospital held annually in Tuscumbia, AL. She was planning to attend the event in July. A donation in her name would be a nice way to honor her legacy. Saddle Up for St Jude monetary donation - Saddle Up for St. Jude
