Melissa Kay Oakley

Melissa Kay Oakley, 28, a resident of Montgomery passed away on September 29, 2012 at home. She is survived by her parents, Flake and Kay Oakley; two extraordinary and loving brothers, Daniel Oakley and Michael Oakley, all of Montgomery; and paternal Grandmother, Margret Oakley of Columbia, Al; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal Grandparents, Erskine and Pat Porter, Birmingham; and paternal Grandfather, Walter Oakley, Columbia. She will forever be our precious little girl and a joy to her family and all who knew her. A special thank you to Melissa’s two long-time sitters, Dot Thorington-Pickett (and family) and Lou Osborne for the special love and care they gave her.
