Michael L. Hubbard

Michael Lee Hubbard, age 64 died April 25, 2010 after an extended battle with kidney disease. A native of West Virginia, Michael had been a longtime resident of Montgomery, AL. He is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Davis, his father Dennis (Pete) Hubbard and a brother Dennis Hubbard. He leaves behind his wife, Patty Hubbard, children and stepchildren, Michael L. Hubbard, Jr.(TX), Shawn Hubbard, Douglas Brannon, Shelton Brannon, Joseph Brannon, Deborah Joe Brannon (GA) and Holly Boutwell (TX). A member of the USAF and a Vietnam Veteran Michael retired here in 1981 and worked for Baptist Medical Center and was a pastor at several Baptist churches with the last 10 years serving as the Pastor of Tunnell Chapel Baptist Church. The pall bearers will be: Douglas Brannon, Shelton Brannon, Joseph Brannon, Michael Hubbard Jr., Shawn Hubbard and Ben Headley. Visitation will be held at Leak-Memory Chapel Wednesday from 5PM to 7PM. Services will be Thursday at Leak-Memory Chapel beginning at 10:30 AM in the Chapel with graveside following at Greenwood Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements under the direction of Leak Memory Chapel, Montgomery, AL.
