Michael Hamilton Payne, 60, of Montgomery passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012. He was a long time resident of the River Region, an avid music lover and worked for many years as a salesman in the printing industry. He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Phillip and Marietta Hamilton Payne and a brother Richard Phillip Payne. He is survived by his wife Terri Mitchell; Sister: Fara Payne Zaleski; Brother: Christopher Mark Payne, both of Montgomery; several nieces and nephews and his pets, Sparkplug and Boomer. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Leak Memory Chapel. Graveside services will be at 11 am Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Larry Armstrong officiating.
