

Milton Clark Gaston Jr., a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Alabama, passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on September 29, 1940, in Alabama, Milton was a respected member of his community and a devoted family man.
Milton was the owner of Gaston Cattle Farm and served honorably as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a dedicated member of the Woodlands Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Clark Gaston Sr. and Jimmie Reid Gaston, as well as his sister, Susan Gaston McConnell.
Milton is survived beloved wife of 57 years Evelyn Bassett Gaston, his son, Milton Clark "Scoot" Gaston III, and his daughters, Leigh Ann Gaston and Laura Gaston. He also leaves behind his cherished granddaughter, Rachael Stough.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Milton was an active member of the Cattlemen's Association and served as president of Montgomery County. In his younger years, he enjoyed saddle bronc and bull riding in rodeos, water skiing at Lake Martin, coaching his daughters in Dixie youth softball, and watching his son play baseball. He was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on February 25, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm at the same location, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL, 36109.
Milton will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his community, and his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
