I hate to hear of the passing of Nell. I worked with her at SMH surgery department and thought of her often over the years. She was a wonderful humble person. She was one of the most caring and personable people that I have ever encountered. Always listening to other people's problems and helping them to understand that everything was going to be OK. As Christians we taught to look for the face of Jesus in our fellow man. In Nell, that was not an obstacle at all. Her smile and humor was always a treasure and I am sure will be missed by all of her friends and family. Our prayers are with you. God Bless.

Dear Billy, It saddens me greatly to know that your mom has passed but we both know she is suffering no more.
Your mom always impressed me with her knowledge, compassion, and sharing wonderful stories with all of us!! I treasure the many family events we shared as well as attending an Auburn football game with both her and your dad, discovering the kid in her at Disney, and just how much she loved her family.

Nell and I worked together for a long time.  I remember the first day she started in the OR at St.Margarets. She was a wonderful and kind hearted person and a very good and caring nurse.  She loved my fruit cake cookies and I made sure she had some at Christmas time.  My heart,love,and prayers go out to you Bill and your whole family whom she loved and cared about so much.  Louise

i am writing this for my mom Nellie Gordon who worked with Nell Frith at St. Margaret's for many years. She is saddened by her passing and we will be praying for your family.

Nell Frith and I worked together for many years at St. Margaret's Hospital in surgery. She not only was a very hard worker but loved by all. She and I were very good friends. I have not seen her in a few years but she was always in my thoughts and prayers. She will be greatly missed. We loved each other as 2 sisters. Betty Hall

I worked with Nell @ St. Margaret' s for several years. She always talked about her children. I remember one Christmas when Billy wanted all Conan stuff and she didn't know who that was . One year we drew names for gifts and she had said , just  in talking, that she would like to have some Hummel Figurines. Well I could not afford that ,so I got her 2 Hummel type figurines and she acted like the real thing. Nell was in nursing school with my sister so there was sort of a connection already. I loved working with Nell and we had some good times. Bill you know I always enjoyed working with you and consider you and Cheryl as friends. This has been a rough year for y'all .but know that friends have you on their minds often.  Lil
