Perry Clyde Jinright, 96, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Annie Lee Wilhoite Jinright; infant daughter, Gladys Ann Jinright; parents, James Vernon Jinright and Alma Dawkins Jinright; brothers, J.V Jinright, Isaac Jinright, Ray Jinright and Wiley Jinright.
He is survived by sons, Charles Jinright (Martha) and Clyde Jinright (Melanie); grandchildren, Charles W. “Bo” Jinright (Lindsey), Perry C. “Trey” Jinright III (Claire) and George Daniel Jinright (Melissa); great grandchildren, Charles Leland Perry Jinright, George Ann Jinright, Mary Walker Jinright and Perry Elizabeth Jinright.
Mr. Jinright retired after 32 years of service with Maxwell AFB. During his lifetime, P.C. received an honorary discharge from the Marines in 1943, and he also served as a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church, Catoma Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Baptist Church. P.C. also held the honor of Past Potentate of the Alcazar Shrine Temple in Montgomery and Past Master of the Masonic Lodge 11.
A private graveside service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Friendship Baptist Church in Dublin, Alabama.
