Patricia M Nicholson

Patricia M. (Patsy, Pat) Nicholson died, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Birmingham, AL, after a long illness. She was born in Elba, AL and lived in both Birmingham, AL and Montgomery, AL with her husband of 55 years, Boyd E. Nicholson, Jr. until his death in 2007. She now joins Boyd in Victory. She was a lifetime member of Frazer United Methodist Church in Montgomery, AL. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity as well as for her great love of cooking and great love of family. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery at 11am, officiated by Ron Schultz. Private family visitation will begin at 10am at Leak Memory Chapel with a procession to Greenwood Cemetery. Patsy is survived by her children, Les Nicholson (Lisa) and Lynn Nicholson both of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Suzanne Todd (Chris) of Birmingham, AL and Christopher Nicholson of Mobile, AL; Sisters-in-law, Lavinia Mitchell of Little Rock, AK, Sally Mitchell of Montgomery, AL, Eunice Clements of Pensacola, FL and Joyce Pinkston of Jacksonville, FL; 6 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special family friend Stephnie Flurry, who assisted with Pat’s care during her illness. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Byrd Hinson Mitchell, Jr. and Vera Reeves Mitchell; husband Boyd E. Nicholson, Jr.; brothers Robert (Bob) and Jerry Mitchell and sister Marsha Walters.
