Patrick A Steffen

Patrick “Pat” Alan Steffen, 61, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died May 30, 2023. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Leak Memory Chapel from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Pat moved to the Montgomery area in 1997 from Milwaukee, WI. He was a veteran of the Navy. While serving he was awarded the Naval Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Development Ribbon and the Humanitarian Service Medal. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking and cookouts. He loved spending time with his family and close friends, his dogs and being in the pool with a beer in his hand after work and the weekends. He was employed with AT&T for 24 years. Pat is preceded in death by his parents Clarence L. and Lynne Wierth Steffen and a brother Joel Steffen. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Deborah Dassel Steffen, son David Steffen (Christina), daughter Nicolette Taylor Steffen, stepsons David Hagemann, Jr and Michael Hagemann, grandchildren Declan Steffen and Ronan Steffen, step grandchildren Hailey Hagemann, Dane Hagemann, Hensley Hagemann, Garrett Hagemann and Caroline Hagemann, sisters Andrea Phillips, Susan Schaff (John) and Sydney Steffen, numerous nieces and nephews and close family friends Charlie and Rose Pyron, Jack Reese, Chris and Kathy Swanson and a special young lady Lexi McGee and her mother Mandy Hinsley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
