Patsy J. Nelson, 84, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2025 at Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ervin and Sarah Francis Jinright, as well as her husband, Donald A. Nelson. Survivors include her sister, Pam Bradley, her four children, Kim Blake, Ken Blake, Keith (Andrea) Blake and Kristy (Jimmy) Wintzell and her niece Angela Roney who was like a daughter. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Courtney Jeans, Colby Blake, Corey Reynolds, Cliff Reynolds, Drew Armbrester, Brittany Armbrester & Ashley Barnett, along with numerous relatives and friends. Patsy was born in Montgomery, Alabama on July 2, 1940. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She was a member of Eastmont Baptist Church until she moved to Spanish Fort, Alabama where she resided at Westminster Village for five years. She worked in the banking business as a loan originator for twenty years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping, going to the beach and shopping for anything with the theme of butterflies. She was a wonderful mother, “Nana” and friend. Visitation and a memorial service will be held at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2025, 12:00 p.m. for visitation with memorial service starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in White Chapel-Greenwood Cemetery.
