Peggy W Lewis

She was born in Ozark, AL, as the youngest child of 11 children, but lived most of her life in Montgomery, where she and the love of her life, Perry, created a home for their three sons.

She is survived by her sons, Don (Billie) Lewis, Ken (Linda) Lewis, Larry (Mary Sue) Lewis; grandchildren, Donna (Brian) Key, Chris Lewis, Daniel (Cory) Lewis, Katie Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, David (Elizabeth) Lewis, Michael Lewis; great grandchildren, Zeph Key, Zack Key, Owen Key, Presley Lewis; sister, Louise Chancey; and two special sisters-in-law, Mavis Willis and Billie Gay Willis.

Peggy was a faithful member of Dalradia Methodist Church, which continued to minister to her during her illness.

Pallbearers will be Chris Lewis, Daniel Lewis, David Lewis, Michael Lewis, Brian Key, and Zeph Key.

Throughout Peggy’s struggle with Alzhiemer’s, she was blessed to have a wonderful staff and caregivers. These caregivers took care of her as if she where their own mother. Thank you will never be enough to Stephanie and Amos Anthony, Kadra Anthony, Carrie White, and Judith “Ms. Dot” Guice.

Family and friends will gather at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery for a graveside service at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 13, 2015. The family will receive visitors at the Lewis Home in Dalradia following the service.
