Raymond Thomas “Buddy” Gamble, Sr., age 81 of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ramer, AL. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Doris Ballew Gamble; and his daughter, Lisa Blatchford. Survivors include his son, Tom (Brenda) Gamble; grandchildren, Grace Gamble, Jacob (Jessica) Gamble, Lane Blatchford; and his great grandchildren, Michelle, Zoey, and Caleb. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Leak Memory Chapel with Reverend Luke Finkelstein officiating. The burial will follow at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. The family will begin to accept friends at 10:00 AM, prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Michael Crowe, Tony Ferraro, Lane Blatchford, Lance Blatchford, Sonny Hall, and Terry Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Hughes, Johnny Butler, Fred Paulk, Cliff Benson, and John Breckenridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Mt.
