Robert Hagan, Sr., 61, died Thursday, September 16, 2010. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Warren Culver officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Mr. Hagan was preceded in death by his parents, James T. and Mary Laumer Hagan. He is survived by his wife, Trudie P. Hagan; children, Donna (James) Doucet of Boston, MA, Troy (Carrie) Hagan, Prattville, AL, Robert (Ruby) Hagan, Misawa, Japan, Natasha (Russell) Hammack, Northport, AL; grandchildren, Ashley Tate, Ryan Doucet, Tiffany Hagan, Jay Hagan, Zoe Hagan and Reagan Hammack; brother, James T. Hagan, Jr., Wetumpka, AL and many nieces and nephews. Born in Troy, AL, Mr. Hagan served in the Alabama National Guard and retired from the Alabama Department of Corrections. The family would like to thank Mary Smith for caring for him in his final days and his sweet dog “Katie” for her unconditional love. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
