Robert Steven Johnson

Johnson, Robert Steven, 76, a resident of Montgomery, Al., passed away March 19, 2022. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Leak-Memory Chapel officiated by Pastor Greg Gosselin. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Snowdoun, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Elizabeth Johnson, sister Patricia Johnson, nephew Leslie Lowe, Sr and great granddaughter Hadlei Segrest. He is survived by sons Stephen Johnson and wife Tammy, Scott Johnson and wife Julie, grandchildren Baylee Johnson (Brett), Allison Johnson, Britni Smith (Daniel), great grandchildren Owen Johnson, Tanner Wilson, Kenslei Smith and Hunter Smith, sisters Jackie J. Lowe and Deborah Johnson, niece Elizabeth Lowe, great nieces Bethany Walker and Savannah Lowe, great nephews Jonathan Lowe, Leslie Lowe, Jr. and Ryder Lowe.

Pallbearers will be Brett Johnson, Jonathan Lowe, Jamey Hollingsworth, Leslie Lowe Jr., Ryder Lowe, Owen Johnson, and Daniel Smith. Honorary Pallbearer is Terry Ledford.

Mr. Johnson served in the USMC, was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a machinist by trade. He was a diehard Alabama fan and also loved his faithful K-9 companions Chrissy Gail and Gracie Lynn.
