Robert Pierson Richardson

Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Douglas Richardson; and sisters, Frances O’Neal, Louise Moseley, and Nellie Lee Walker.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife of seventy years, Sarah Cook Richardson; three sons, Dr. Thomas Eugene Richardson (Rosemary) of Decatur, Alabama, Robert Carroll Richardson of Montgomery, and Donald Cook Richardson of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Joseph Thomas Richardson (Kelly) of Hartselle, Alabama, John Milton Richardson (Molly) of Roswell, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Margaret Ford Richardson of Roswell, Georgia, Milton Brooks Richardson of Roswell, Georgia; and a host of nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Mark Osgood will officiate.

Mr. Richardson was a life-long resident of Montgomery. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and was employed by the Greyhound Corporation for forty-three years. He was long time member of the Methodist Church, and was also a member of the Oak Park Masonic Lodge for over sixty years.
