Ruth Schultz

Ruth liked to spend her time crocheting and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth was a blue ribbon winner at the Alabama National Fair for her afghans. She enjoyed gardening and cultivating roses. At one point she was growing over 30 varieties! She worked for the state of Alabama as an account clerk before retiring. She was active duty in both the Marines and the Navy and a member of the Army National Guard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ester and Charles Harmon Moore; her daughters, Donna Joy Schultz and Dana Ruth Schultz; and her sister, Wanda Baumler.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Diane Schultz and Debbie Jayne Hill; her grandchildren, Andrea Renee Schultz and Chris Lantrip, William Rogers III and Araceli Deleon; her great grandchildren, James Allen May, Hannah Katherine May, Emily Lantrip, Jack Lantrip, Kody Rogers, and Sage Givens; her great-greatgrandchild, Michael Givens; and her brothers, James Moore and Edward Wayne Moore.
