With broken hearts and beautiful memories, we announce that our beloved Sandra died on Saturday May 23,2026 in Murfreesboro, TN. She was at an agility trial, doing what she loved, being with Bobbie, Zodi Otis, Stormie, Fletcher, and her “dog friends”.
Sandra worked as the Accounting Manager at Union Springs Telephone company for 40 years. She was looking forward to retirement this year after her 70th birthday in May.
Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she and Bobbie always hosted a Christmas party. Starting in October Sandra began creating a snow village that took over an entire room. It was the most magical sight; you could look for hours at all the tiny intricate details of the village and be transported to a world of wonder. It was a place where you could become a kid at Christmas again just like Sandra, someone who never grew up when it came to the joy of Christmas.
Sandra leaves behind many cherished friends and family:
Sandra’s wife of 26 years Bobbie Morris, her dog kids Zodi Otis, Stormie and Fletcher. Mother and Stepfather in Law: Margaret and James Earle, Sister and brother-in-law Pamela and the late Travis Tindal. Sandra’s 5 siblings Herb Huner and his wife Anne, Stanley Huner and his wife Jane, Mary O’Neil and her husband Don, Rick Huner and his wife Sherene, Theresa Maddox and her husband Wayde. Preceding her in death, parents Mary and Stanley Huner, nephew Jeffery Huner, brother-in-law Robert Maddox and two infant great nephews Michael Stanley Herring and Henry Huner.
