Stanley F. Palmer, 87, departed this life on August 12 following a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family and will be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by Joyce (Pullen) Palmer, his wife of 51 years; daughters, Patricia Hydock and Kimberly Tomaski; son, James Palmer; 4 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren all of NJ; brother, Andy Palmer of Wyoming; niece, Terry King of Oklahoma and cousin, Jackie Hodge of TX.
Raised in Calico Rock, AK., he joined the US Air Force at age 18, and retired in 1970 a decorated Chief Warrant Officer W4. Following military retirement, he enjoyed 15 years as a counselor, taking great pride in helping others.
Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, AL. 36109, on Tuesday, August 16th from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the same location.
