Tammy Gilpin Smith

SMITH, Tammy Gilpin, 52, a resident of Pike Road, died Friday, January 22, 2016. Her Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016, from 5-7 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by her Life Celebration Service at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church, with Rev. Tim Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ayers Gilpin, stepfather, Thomas Erwin Wilson, daughter, Bonnie Rae Smith, and son, Joseph Dalton Smith. Survivors include her husband, Randall J. Smith; daughter, Hannah Smith Womack (Craig); mother, Mary Grace Wilson; sisters, Jane Ayers Ruud (Frank), Donna Hines (Charles), Mary Grace Rollan (Dwight “Bud”), and her beloved lab, Bailey Joy. Pallbearers will be Brad Ruud, Brian, Matt & Justin Rollan, and Torre & Rex Smith. She loved her family, and being an active member of Woodland UMC. She was a loving, generous, selfless person; fantastic cook, huge lifelong Elvis fan, and the glue that held her family together. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital.
