She is predeceased by her father George C. Dickey, Jr.; grandparents, George C. and Epsie J. Dickey, Sr; Clarence R. and Mae Dene Trousdale; Brother, Robert “Bobby” Dickey; Mother-in-law, Louise S. Nichols. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joe Nichols; son, Michael Scott Nichols; mother, Patricia T. Campbell and friend Samuel T.Wilson; sisters, Dale Dickey Romano, and Sheron Campbell; and beloved dog, Millie; a close friend Linda Pugh; numerous in laws, nieces and nephews.
Leigh was a well-known decorator and antique lighting business owner.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 11:00 – 11:45 at Leak Memory Chapel with graveside service at 12:00 p.m. in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Chaplain Paul Gourdine.
