Theresa Owen Plante

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (Jason) Breland and Jennifer (Robert) Crowe; her grandchildren, Robert Ransom Crowe, Rachel Anne Crowe, Christin Miranda Beck, Jaycie Lane Breland, Kadee Anne Breland and Garrett Ray Breland; her spouse, Robert Beck; her sisters, Melinda (David) Maxwell Gibb and Shawn (Rogelio) Fonseca; as well as her niece, Esperanza Fonseca and nephew, Rogelio Fonseca.

From green bean casserole to ambrosia and German chocolate cake to rutabagas, Theresa enjoyed cooking for holidays. Caring and generous, she doted on her family. Theresa loved to learn. An avid reader, her favorite authors were Stephen King and Ann Rice. She enjoyed Alabama football, her pets - cats and dogs, and her grandchildren. Mrs. Plante will be remembered as a mom who loved her family deeply.

A family and friends visitation for Theresa will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 5:00 PM.
