Shout GRACE unto it .. is a sermon that he preached at our church on one occasion that has forever been embedded in my soul .. Bro. Lambert guided our church through some rocky times when it lost its purpose for being ; I'm glad to say it is doing well today reaching the lost and feeding the sheep , for 25+ years i have carried a laminated picture of Bro Lambert with the words MY HERO in my wallet.. Always enjoyed his wit ; He told me one day " Brother Hall I was handling church problems when you were kicking slats out of the cradle" Heaven gained a true hero of the faith   

I will never forget when my family first met Bro. Lambert at 2nd A/G . We were under his ministry for years. Our family became friends forever. He had an amazing ministry and was an amazing man and friend. It is heartbreaking to see him leave us but I know he is getting his Heavenly reward. The Cook family sends their love.

Bro. Lambert...I’ve known Bro. Lambert all my life. How could I NOT being raised in AL as an A/G girl since birth.  It was Bro. Lambert that welcomed Al and me to his son Steve’s church in Clearwater, FL when we visited on a Mother’s Day.  He took us into Steve’s office to see the Bama photos on the wall; he knew I’d appreciate that. That small gesture of kindness changed our lives as we  adopted that church as our own, became dear friends with Steve and Ruth and several others that are lifetime friends now.  Bro. Lambert alway had a smile, a funny story and a way of making you feel like you mattered. I cherish his friendship and leadership. He will be missed....SO much. 

Got acquainted with Brother Lambert while we attended First Assembly in Montgomery back in 1993- 1999.  Thought very highly of him as a man of God.

When Pastor Vaudie would come to Clearwater First Assembly, we couldn’t believe how he just naturally connected with everyone. When he got to preach we all could see where Pastor Steve got his talent, from his dad! I remember once when Pastor Steve preached a great sermon, and I told him he did. Pastor whispered in my ear “that was one of my daddy’s sermons.” I got to know Pastor Vaudie a little better during the time of Steve’s passing.  I thank our Lord for giving us men like Pastor Vaudie Lambert. Blessings to all the Lamberts. Vaudie will never be forgotten. 

To all of the members of the Lambert families, far or near, no matter how you have arrived here for such a time as this.    While I have no special memory of Vaudie, I do remember when he and Lillian would come to Clearwater Florida and spend time with his son Steven and daughter  “in love” Ruth and the church here.    Thanks be to God for the awesome, incredible, wonderful Christian heritage that is in all of you.     My prayers for peace for the family, and knowing of the “blessed hope” that we will see our loved ones again.    God Bless You Each and Every One 

Our prayers and thoughts are with all of brother Lambert’s family. Brother Lambert was our district superintendent when I came into the Assemblies of God fellowship. I remember like so many others how he would tell us what we scored on our ordination test which was well below of what it actually was in order to get a reaction, which he did (lol). He was a great man, a great leader, and a great example to all of us and he will be dearly missed. May the fire that burned in his heart for Jesus Christ continue to burn in ours!

''To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.''  The homegoing of this good man of God is Heaven's gain and Earth's loss.  Brother Lambert's spiritual influence in mine and my family's lives is immeasurable.  Only our Heavenly Father knows the extent of his service and will surely reward him accordingly.  The Comforter is here for his family and friends!

Our Uncle Vaudie holds such a special place in our hearts - from Glemore Road and Central Assembly  days up to the present. His fond memories of spiritual and physical interactions with the Burdicks will be forever cherished and loved. He was a childhood friend with my Father (Jack) and a prayer warrior and a dear brother in law to mom (Janice). Thank you so much Uncle Vaudie and Aunt Leeann (Lillian) for your prayers, consultations and support through the many years. God Bless and keep you always. Many years ago, while living in Montgomery, I was a part of Christian Life Church.  One Sunday, our pastor woke-up not feeling well and told his wife she would have to preach the sermon.  She was not prepared and rushing to church, not knowing what to do, she arrived.  An usher met her at the door and said, "Miss Denice, Vaudie Lambert's here."  "Where?" She asked.  "He's in Pastor's office." She rushed in to greet him and he said he woke up and the Lord told him to go visit Steve & Denice this morning.  Excited, she asked if he could preach, and he had a word from the Holy Spirit to bring to us.  I am thankful for a man who heard the Voice of God and celebrate his Home-going.
