Warren Berry Marshall Sr.

He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all.

Mr. Marshall was born May 15th, 1916, the son of Fred Haskell and Elizabeth Marshall in Meridian, Mississippi. In 1945 he married Allene Mann Drew. He retired from Marshall Lumber Company and was a past president of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association. He was a devoted member of Dalraida Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers. He is survived by his wife

Mrs. Allene Drew Marshall, two sisters, Elizabeth Marshall Sanford, Heloise Marshall McKee, sister in-law Kathryn Drew, daughter Allene (Jack) Everett, and sons Warren (Dale) Marshall, Mitchell (Linda) Marshall, Everett (Sandra) Marshall, William (Joyce) Marshall, John (Wendy) Marshall. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren Warren Marshall III, Allison (Morris) Wright, Ashley (Ellis) Jones, Drew (Kristal) Marshall, Travis (Meredith) Marshall, Chester Marshall, Laura (Richard) Behr, Jennifer (Mike) Hewitt, Shannon (Fred) Brock, Robin (Andy) Blair, William (Hollis) Marshall Jr., Everett (Lauren) Marshall, Matthew (Meredith) Marshall, Kate (Scott) Bell, Evan (Ashley) Everett, Marshall Everett, John Drew Marshall, Jr., Anna Marshall and 21 great grandchildren whom he adored.

Services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Rick Evans and Reverend Doyle Roberson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Marshall's 10 grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are the men from Warren’s Sunday School Class at Dalraida Baptist Church.

The family requests no flowers, food or donations, but will treasure your thoughts and prayers.
