William Edward Chumley

William Edward Chumley, age 62, passed away on October 2, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edward Chumley and Helen Mainor Chumley; and his sister, Christine Roe. He is survived by his brothers, Bobby Ward (Reba), Rusty Chumley (Shirley), Butch Chumley (Beth), Randy Chumley (Donna), Larry Chumley (Trisha), Tim Chumley (Becky) and Walter Chumley (Amy); along with many nieces and nephews.

Billy worked at Winn Dixie and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Billy never met a stranger, and he loved Alabama football and his beloved dog and companion Elvis. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. He was a cancer survivor and a friend to all. Billy was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and the Montgomery Humane Shelter in honor of Billy.

A visitation will be held on October 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL, 36109.

The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the same location.

A graveside service will take place at Rocky Mount Cemetery, located at 2367 Rocky Mt Rd, Prattville, AL, 36066.
