

Zeke was born in Montgomery, Alabama to William Zeb Westbrook, Sr. and Willie Belle (Davis) Westbrook.
Zeke was married to Linda Tucker Westbrook for 54 years. They had two children, Jason Westbrook (Melissa) and Lauren Westbrook. Zeke and Linda cherished their grandchildren, Caitlyn and Zac Westbrook. Zeke was preceded in death by his parents, spouse and his aunt, Ella Beatrice Davis.
Zeke was a devoted employee of the Alabama Department of Transportation where he had many friends, young and old. Zeke looked forward to lunch break because it allowed him to read and nap.
Zeke was a faithful member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church where he enjoyed his men’s Sunday School class. However, most Sunday’s Papa Zeke could be found teaching preschool children the importance of Christ and the proper way to consume Goldfish crackers.
Zeke could always be found at his grandchildren’s events with his Kindle, his chair and a bag of popcorn. Zeke’s other hobbies included reading, Lego construction, guitar, golf, tennis, running, softball, handball, woodworking, fishing and tree felling.
Zeke loved his friends, his children’s friends and his grandchildren’s friends.
Visitation will be held at Eastern Hills Baptist Church on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 10 am with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 12. In lieu of flowers, Zeke requests donations be made to Eastern Hills Baptist Church, Alabama Christian Academy or Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama.
