Mrs. Willie Kate Dean, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013. She was born July 12, 1914 in Montgomery Co. AL. She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery and worked for the Montgomery Co. Health Dept. for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Frank M. Dean. She is survived by her son, Gary D. Dean Sr.; daughter-in-law, Lucile Massey Dean; grandchildren, Gary D. Dean Jr. and Lucy Dean Wright; five great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was very active in several churches of Christ in Montgomery, the last being Vaughn Park Church of Christ. Services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel, Thursday, March 21 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, Historic Preservation, 2535 W. Hickory Grove Road Lapine AL. 36046-7400 or your favorite charity .
