Alexandre Leclair

Au cours de la dernière année, Alexandre a mené un combat courageux contre un cancer médullaire du rein, déjà métastatique au moment du diagnostic. Personne profondément lumineuse, il était porteur d’espoir et d’un grand humanisme qui marquaient tous ceux qui avaient la chance de le connaître.

Avocat et membre du Barreau de l’Ontario, Alexandre exerçait sa profession avec intelligence, intégrité et compassion.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses parents, Suzanne Monier et Edmond-Jean Bernard; Jean-Daniel Leclair; son frère Tristan (Véronique Brossard); ainsi que sa famille, ses amis et ses collègues.

La famille tient à exprimer sa profonde reconnaissance envers le Dr Normand Blais et les intervenants du CHUM, le Dr Pavlos Msaouel du MD Anderson Cancer Center, l’équipe des soins palliatifs à domicile d’Aux Trois Sentiers, ainsi que le personnel de La Maison de soins palliatifs St-Raphaël, pour leur soutien, leur professionnalisme et la grande humanité dont ils ont fait preuve.

Conformément à ses volontés, aucune cérémonie funéraire n’aura lieu. Une première célébration de sa vie aura lieu sur invitation, et une autre sera organisée ultérieurement par ses amis.

En mémoire d’Alexandre, en guise de fleurs, des dons pourront être faits à Aux Trois Sentiers, dont l’équipe prépare actuellement une section dédiée en son honneur.

La lumière qu’il a apportée dans la vie de ceux qui l’ont connu continuera de briller dans leurs cœurs.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alexandre Leclair, on February 26, 2026, at the age of 32, surrounded by those closest to him.

Over the past year, Alexandre fought a courageous battle with renal medullary carcinoma, already metastatic at the time of diagnosis. A deeply luminous person, he brought hope and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A lawyer and member of the Law Society of Ontario, Alexandre practiced his profession with intelligence, integrity, and compassion.

He leaves behind his parents, Suzanne Monier and Edmond-Jean Bernard; Jean-Daniel Leclair; his brother Tristan (Véronique Brossard); as well as his family, friends, and colleagues.

The family wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Normand Blais and the team at CHUM, Dr. Pavlos Msaouel of MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Aux Trois Sentiers home palliative care team, and the staff of La Maison de soins palliatifs St-Raphaël, for their attentive care, professionalism, and kindness.

In accordance with his wishes, no funeral service will be held. A first celebration of his life will take place by invitation, and another will be organized later by his friends.

In Alex’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aux Trois Sentiers, whose team is preparing a dedicated section in his honour.

The light he brought into the lives of those who knew him will continue to shine in their hearts.
