Amelia Ali Tassone

Amelia lived a selfless life while raising & caring for her family of 3 sons & 1 daughter, first in Italy, then Australia & finally in Canada. She devoted her life to making sure her children & their families were always her top priority insisting on weekly family dinners with not only the 15 of them but also any friend of any one of the family.

She taught us all about living for others & about resilience & persistence & for that, we thank her.

Amelia leaves behind her sons Rocco (Mary Saia) Vincenzo( Sabina Altieri) & Franco and her daughter Pina (Rudy Folini) as well as her precious grandchildren, Hugo (Vanessa Strzelecki) Tania (Jason Girosan), Liana (Scott Brooks) & predeceased Adriano (rest in peace), Chiara (David Buma), Livio (Laura Bellomo) as well as her beloved great grandchildren Sienna, Mirko, Tristan, Makai, Lorenzo & Matthis. Amelia joins her predeceased husband of 68 years Ugo Tassone.

The family extends their gratitude to the caring professional staff at Chateau Westmount as well as her caretakers Carole & Aurora.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 11 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 at the Centre funéraire Côte-des-neiges (4525, Chemin de la Côte-des-neiges, Montreal). A memorial service will follow at the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, December 12 at 10 a.m.
