1924 - 2013
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Edmond Stasiak. He died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Eugenia and Father of Anna, Ferdinand and Jerome, father-in-law to Alicia and Gregory, Grandfather to Martin and Celine, Nadine, Monica, Austin, Magda, Philip, Conrad, Michal and Lucas and Emilie. Great-Grandfather to Emi, Tristan and Nicolas as well as the many nieces and nephews spread out all over the world. He will be greatly missed but his memory will live forever. Born after the war to end all wars just in time to be flung into another war, fighting in three armies and surviving torture, he fought his most important battles trying to raise and provide for his family. Visitation will take place at the Cote-des-Neiges Funeral home, 4525, ch. de la Cote-des-Neiges, Montreal, H3V 1E7, on Sunday, 2 - 5 PM. The funeral mass will be held at the St. Michael and St. Anthony's Parish at 5580 Rue St-Urbain at 1:30 PM followed by the interment at the Notre-Dame-des Neiges Cemetery.
