Mrs. Eileen Dorothy Rogers Eley age 92, passed away Providence Centre Nursing Home in Toronto, Ontario on February 21, 2012. She was a Montreal native, and the daughter and sister of the late Kenneth and Nellie (Pumphrey) Rogers formerly of Harbour Grace, Newfoundland and who were once residents of Verdun, Quebec; her late brother Major Ronald E. Rogers RCE who was a former resident of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Private Interment will be be arranged by Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Homes, 5610 Sherbooke Street, Montreal Ouest.
She was the mother of William Francis Kennedy of Waltham, Massachusetts and the late Loretta Diane Eley of Toronto and wife of the late Thomas Eley of Montreal. Also, she was the Past President of the Quebec Council of the Boy Scouts of Canada Auxiliary, headquarters in Montreal, member of the Canadian Cancer Society and Queen Alexandra Chapter 24, Order of the Eastern Star of Montreal.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the organizations she was once affiliated with.
