It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Ernesta Ciampini (née Pedicelli), who peacefully left us on January 1, 2025, at the age of 90.
Born on March 22, 1934, in Aquasanta, Ascoli Piceno, Italy, Ernesta was a remarkable woman of deep faith, grace, and resilience.
Ernesta will be fondly remembered for her selflessness, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother & great grandmother, and cherished friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and sacrifice.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Montreal Jewish General Hospital and its exceptional Palliative Care Team, particularly Dr. Mazella and Dr. Bayne, for their extraordinary care.
A special thank you goes to the dedicated nurses of the CLSC for their daily support and to Ernesta’s devoted caregiver, Maria Venus, whose unwavering care brought comfort during her final days.
We are profoundly grateful to Father Jaison Joseph of St. Monica’s Parish for the love, kindness, and spiritual guidance he provided Ernesta over the years.
Ernesta will be remembered for her many qualities: her class, elegance, selflessness, and heart of gold. She was a woman of great faith, deeply respectful and traditional, a hard worker who sacrificed everything for her family. Above all, she was known as the best chef, always sharing her love through her delicious cooking.
