

Évangéline (Robichaud) Brown of Montréal passed away peacefully Saturday September 26, 2020. Born in Bouctouche N. B., she was the daughter of the late Alyre Robichaud and the late Amanda (Bourque) Robichaud.
In her youth, Évangéline enjoyed many sports but she particularly loved to skate and swim. In her senior years she was a passionate Montréal Canadiens fan and an avid bridge player. After high school she pursued a nursing degree and graduated in 1951 from St. Mary’s Hospital Montréal school of nursing. During this time she met George Brown and they were married in 1953. Together they had five children. She spent much of her nursing career at St.Mary’s Hospital on the maternity ward. She enjoyed helping the new mothers and their babies.
Évangéline will be sadly missed by her daughters Vivian (Philippe) and Denise (Mario) and her sons Mark (Barbara-Anne), David (Lynda) and Philip (Christine); grand children Éric (Maxime) Katharine (Jean-François), Patricia (Fil), Geoffrey (Lauren), Nicholas, Stéfan (Véronica), Kyle, Alyssa (Nicholas), Dominique (Samuel) Andrea; great grand children Adeline, James, Cameron, Margaux.
Évangéline was predeceased by her husband George Brown, her granddaughter Sarah and her siblings Louis, Laure, Yvette, Alberta, Apoline and Thérèse.
