Evelyn was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and died peacefully in Montreal at the age of 105, always a proud Acadian.Loving wife to Victor and partner to Henry.
Beloved mother to Bob, Lorraine, and Diane and Stepmother to Mary Lou, David and TerrySister to Bessie.Adored grandmother and great grandmother to seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.Cherished aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephewsLoyal friend to many.
As well as her loving devotion to her family, Evelyn adored animals, wild or domestic. Dogs, cats, birds and squirrels were her favourites, and she had them all eating out of her hand.
She loved to garden and spent many hours amongst her beautiful flowers.
Evelyn was a wonderful cook and enjoyed feeding everyone.
She was an avid reader and an amazing quilter. Her quilts will be used by the family for many years to come.
She will be in our hearts forever, and will leave a lasting impression on all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
