It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Maria Francesca Macri (née Zucco) on August 29th, 2021, at the age of 77. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own. Her smile was warm and infectious.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donato Macri. She is survived by her children, Sandra, Salvatore (Nada), Vincenzo (Amanda), Delia (Omar) and her six grandchildren ; Luca, Alessio, Amelia, Julia, Gabriella and Alessandro, as well as her many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Italy and the United States.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Verdun Hospital, as well as a special thanks to Dr. Kaufman and the staff at the Centre d'Hébergement de Lasalle for their kindness and attentiveness at her time of need. You helped us tremendously during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7th from 9 am to 12 at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges. Funeral service will take place at 1 pm in the chapel followed by the burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601 ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges.
