Herminia (Vicencio) Escorial

Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Herminia Vicencio Escorial passed away on March 17 2022, at the age of 91 years.

She was born in Manila and was one of 8 children. Being the second youngest of the family, she became the “runner”, being the one to complete many tasks and errands to help her parents and siblings.

In her 20’s, she received her nursing degree which served her and her family for years to come. In between, she had a stint as an actress, the director of the movies being the father of her children Cesar and Ronnie.

As a single mother in the 60’s, she courageously worked abroad in order to provide for her two sons. She married Jose and they established their first home in Longueuil, Quebec, then later relocated to Detroit, Michigan. The latter is where her sons and grandchildren would visit yearly, where many beautiful memories were shared.

She will be profoundly missed by her son Ronald Pascual, her grandchildren Krystal, Rachelle, Reynald, Reggie, Russell, RonRon,and Ronzel. She was blessed with 5 great grandchildren, all of whom she was able to meet and hold. She will also be remembered by her surviving brother Herminio Vicencio and numerous relatives and friends.

Herminia joins her loving husband of 41 yrs Jose Escorial and her dear son Cesar Pascual in eternal rest.
