We want to express our condolences to his family especially his sisters. I knew Joey, a good friend from my dad by his wonderful story. He was a true friend for him. Always hoping a call saying that he will pass by the house and say hi. Always there for his friend when they needed him. He will be truly missing by our family.

I am so heartbroken for you Janet and Wendy. It is so difficult to lose a sibling. I will always remember Joey from when we were all children, going up North to the cottage on the weekends and how much fun we had, running through the woods, playing on the floating dock with the boys and Joey teasing me about the weeds and the spiders under the dock.I think he thought of me as a pesky younger sister and I know that I sure felt like one. You were my second family and I still think of you as that, all of these many years later.
I hope that you find comfort in the good memories.

Very sad to hear of Joey’s passing. Have fond memories of him coming over to visit us after we moved to Pierrefonds in 94. He was quick to laugh and show interest. We had a similar sense of humour and were both big fans of Lonesome Dove. Rest well Joey.

I spoke with Joey just over a week before he passed. Then I called him again on Christmas day... My heart will ache forever... Dearest Joey, may you rest in peace. May your journey on this earth be remembered by each and everyone of us as a journey of trials and tribulations, of love and loss and so much more.
