

Born in China in 1935, she got married in 1954 and emigrated to Canada and raised a family of 3 children. She worked as a dressmaker for many years and was actively involved with the Chinese Presbyterian Church leading the women’s ministry and serving as an elder.
She loved her family dearly; she gave generously to others; she faithfully served the Lord; and she kept meticulous records.
In her immediate family, she leaves behind her husband Lai Wing Hum, daughters Mabel and Wanda (Sylvain), son Marlin (Laura), her grandchildren (Joshua, Rachel, Michael, Anissa, Kimberly, and Matthew), and great-grandchildren (Mila, Luca, and Della).
She will be missed by her family as well as many friends and acquaintances whose lives she touched.
The funeral will be held at Côte-des-Neiges funeral home (4525 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges) on Sunday, May 21st. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. followed by a commemorative service at 4 p.m. and a reception at 5:00 p.m. Free parking underground.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation.
