She is survived by her brother, Gino, and nieces Eda (Jan), Lucia, nephew Guido and great nephews, Giuliano, and Stefano.
Linda was a loving and attentive daughter to her parents (Guido and Amalia) whom she cared for to their deaths. She loved animals dearly, especially her beloved dog GinGin.
She was an elegant and beautiful woman who enjoyed long walks, the solitude of her own company, classical music, Italian folk songs, and the crooners of the 50's and 60's.
She had a burning nostalgia for “home”, the verdant valleys, and hills of her place of birth and the beaches of Le Marche, in central Italy. Her Italian passport, always ready, gave her some comfort, that the possibility to return was at hand.
She is finally at peace after a long battle with dementia. She will be sorely missed by her family. Her beautiful smile will live on in our memories.
We wish to offer our special thanks to Sarah, her companion, who brought joy to Linda, during the last few months of her life, as well as all the caregivers at the Henri Bradet Residence, on Cote-St-Luc Road, for their tender care and friendly smiles.
Ciao Zia. Riposa in pace!
