

Lynette Camilla Etienne Da Silva, of Sion Hill St. Vincent and the Grenadines passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on December 17th, 2021 at LaSalle General Hospital, Quebec, Canada.
Lynette worked as a nursing assistant at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for more than 12 years. That love and care carried forward as she took care of her family, friends and loved ones. She kept in close contact with numerous members of the Vincentian diaspora community after immigrating to Montreal, Canada in 1969. Lynette had an enormous heart and loved so many people. A God-fearing woman who lived a life of humility and openness to all whom she encountered. Nothing was too much for her to give and everyone was welcomed in her home.
Lynette was extremely talented with her needle point, crochet, knitting and her love of cooking and baking. She loved to shop and greet everyone in the community with a smile. She was known as a woman with a huge personality, style, charisma and grace.
She is survived by her husband Bertram Da Silva, children Marlon Da Silva and Melba Da Silva, grandchildren Danté Da Silva - Whyte and Mikayla Da Silva. She also leaves to mourn her siblings Lenora Morgan, Clancy Etienne, Edward Etienne, Maudrina Andrews, several family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Visitation and Funeral will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 5610 Sherbrooke St West December 29 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service December 30 at 11 a.m. Interment Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. Parking available access from Marcil Avenue. Covid-19 Requirement: Mandatory mask and a minimum of 1 meter distancing between people unless from the same household.
