Marie Ann Cassell

It's with deep sadness that we announce the passing the Marie Lewis George, nee Cassell, formerly of Toby Hill, St-Patricks, and subsequently lower Fort Barrington but who resided in Montreal, QC Canada since 1972.

She passed away on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. She was 96 years young at the Montreal General Hospital.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Joseph Lewis, and their children, Newton, Loreen, and Calvin Lewis, as well as her second husband Noel George.

She leaves to mourn, her children, Gregory, Stafford, Evans, Lestrade, Sherlock, and Leslyn.

Along with the Lewis, Cassell, Meade, George, and Daley families, cousins, friends, grandchildren and greatchildren and great-grandchildren in Montserrat, Antigua, USA, England and Canada.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 7, 2025 from 10am-11am at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, located at 5610 Sherbrooke St. W, Montréal, Québec. Followed by a funeral service at 12pm at Saint Augustine of Canterbury, located at 5333 Av. Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montréal, Québec.
