Michele Chiurillo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michele Chiurillo in Montreal on March 13th 2023 at the age of 84 years old. He has joined his dear wife Elvira in the kingdom of heavens. He was born in Teggiano (Italy) and was the fourth of eight children: Domenico (passed), Rosaria, Antonietta, Francesco, Giuseppe, Giovanni and Rocco. He led the life of a globetrotter, having lived in Italy, Venezuela and Canada. The family will be live streaming the service for his loved ones outside of Canada. He also leaves behind his daughter Teresa, his sons Tony and Vicente, his six granddaughters (Sabrina, Gabriela, Andreina, Isabella, Andrea and Alessandra) and his daughters and son in law (Julio, Isabel and Rosanna). The family will gather for a celebration of his life this Saturday March 18th from 11 am to 1:30 pm at the chapel in Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges. There will be a catholic service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Michele loved music so we ask that donations to the “Orcheste Symphonique de Montreal” are made in lieu of flowers.
