Ngoc Que Nguyen passed away on Feb 9, 2022, at the age of 88. Predeceased by his wife Thi Tao Nguyen. He is survived by his daughters, Kim Chi (Tien Dung), Bich Ngoc, Thien Huong (Ernest), sons Ngoc Toan, Vinh Thuy (Marie-Pascale), Tuan Anh and 10 grandchildren.

Born in Van Dinh, Vietnam to Xuan Ba Nguyen and Thi Chanh Nguyen, he became an ophthalmologist in Saigon and then immigrated with his family to Montreal, Quebec in 1979. On arrival to Canada, he medically retrained in Newfoundland and then practiced family medicine in Montreal for 20 years.

Dad will be greatly missed by his children and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Montreal Chinese Hospital Foundation.

Visitation will take place at the Centre Funéraires Cote Des Neiges , Montreal on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. A Mass Service will be held at the Notre–Dame de l’Assomption church (St-Hubert) on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
