I was  an Aqua fit buddy and miss Pauline very much.
On one of her trips to Australia Pauline brought back a little gift ( she was always so generous with her little gifts) which was a fold up shopping bag to keep in my purse with Australian scenes on it I use it all the time and always think of her. A wonderful memory.
We miss her so much.

I would like to extend my condolences to Pauline's loved ones.  I lived in the same condo building as her for 11 years and always loved her attitude and energy.  Truly, a sweet and lovely person.  I'm so sorry to learn of her passing and send my warmest thoughts during this most difficult time.  

I had the honour of meeting Pauline through a very close friend 2 years ago in a pool of water up to our necks lol. We became known as the aquafitness  gang of 6 ! 
Over this last year that acquaintance grew into a dear friendship that in turn grew stronger.  I thought to myself, I see Pauline  becoming a really good friend!! She was amazing, kind and funny, both  in and out of the pool lol. Our spots during aquafitness were at the back  and Pauline loved to chat throughout the lesson.  That sometimes drew  sour looks from around. But did we care lol ! Nope. I miss those chats tremendously. 
I will miss our  trips to Calem for ice cream, our drives to Costco and Super C, Mondou  and the bakery! Our talks.  Her wisdom. Her advice.  I will miss her enormously ! 
We all still look for her at the pool.  It will take time to accept she won’t be coming anymore.  R.I.P Pauline ❤️ you were unique  ! Xxx Basia


Steve and I have been the closest of friends for 29 years now (and counting). Along our journey, I also had the pleasure and honor of calling Pauline “Mom.” She became another Mom to me. I vividly remember all the sleepovers, car rides in her green van to dances or to basketball games, or random movie gift certificates that she would give to Steve & I as teenagers. And as time flew by, I eventually moved out of Montreal, yet every time I came back to visit home, Pauline and I always managed to connect so that she could give me a large batch of her homemade, world famous pierogis. They were so good. 

To Steve, Jenn and the entire family, our sincerest condolences. I know how much your Mom meant to you (and everyone) and I’m fortunate to have also had her in my life as well. 

Pauline, you are missed…until we meet again.

Steve, Jen, Lynne, Jessie and kids, we are so so sad about Pauline's passing. We will always remember her as a smiling, generous person that was up for adventure. She opened her home to me - without hesitation -  at the last minute this past May and we had a lovely time talking about our wonderful kids and grandkids on that overnight visit. So typically, as I walked out the door she gave me a lunch  that she'd made for my long drive back to Toronto. She was kindness personified  and will leave a big hole in our hearts. I was saddened to hear of Pauline's passing. We met through the Polio Quebec Association in the nineties sharing  a common history. We soon became friends. I remember when Pauline and other board members came to the cottage we had such a good time When she found out my husband and I were going to Australia she told me I had to go visit her son Steve and his wife. We did and they were both very  friendly and showed us  some great Aussie hospitality .
Pauline loved her family and grandchildren and

I was very fortunate to meet Pauline on several occasions throughout my life. When my parents went away on vacation during the holidays many years ago, Jen would invite me to Christmas at Pauline's house, to celebrate with family (let us not forget her amazing homemade pierogies). I will never forget the kindness and graciousness that Pauline embodied. She really made me feel welcome at every event. As always, my love and sincere condolences go out to the family, Jen, Steve, and the kids.

Take comfort in the knowledge that she is always with you now, wherever you go whatever you do.  I went to Holy Names High School with your mom.  I always found her to be kind and caring to anyone she came in contact with.  She was inspirational in her bright outlook. Sincere sympathy to the all of her family members.

Thank you for the pleasure and privilege of knowing you. Thank you for accepting me as I am and, just at the right times, setting me straight with a simple “now, now.” You will be missed. 

While Pauline and I met in high school, our parents had known each long before. Pauline was the kind woman who always came through for her friends. She found me jobs both in Montreal and Toronto. On retirement she continued active, volunteering with Quebec Polio and as member of her Condo Board.
Life was not always easy for her but she managed to deal with adversity with determination and a bright smile. Her kindness and generosity of spirit is what all her friends will most miss with Pauline’s passing.

Pauline was my hero. Remember well the fighting spirit she had as a child, teenager and adult. She had many large fences to climb but beat them all.

Met Pauline in 1965 at Holy Names High School. Spent many a fun time in her basement in Rosemount...listening to music, dancing chatting etc. Lost touch for many years but reconnected lately on Facebook. I'll miss her commentaries!! Condolences to her family and her other friends. RIP Pauline.

Was wonderful that our paths crossed on life’s Journey.  Aqua class, laughter and heartfelt discussions are fond memories I carry.  Rest well Pauline as your journey continues. 🌹🕊️
