

Rosemary was born in Montreal, beloved daughter of the late Frank and Jean (Nee Mundy) Giambattisto. She is survived by the love of her life for 34 years Michele (Mike) Di Ionna. Dear sister and sister-in-law to Dan (Janet Woodall) Giambattisto, Michael (Johann Bateau Gervais) Giambattisto, Frank Jr Giambattisto preceded her in death and Johnny (Nadia Macri) Di Ionna. She was cherished Auntie to Kim, Tom, Nick, Sarah, Joey, Julain and Jenna.
She will be deeply missed by her Aunt Carole Nee Griffin Giambattisto, her many cousins as well as friends and all those Rosemary held dear to her heart.
Funeral services to celebrate Rosemary’s life will be held at Collins Clarke 5610 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec, H4A 1W5 on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass will be held at Saint-Raymond de Pennafort 5765 rue Saint-Jacques, Montreal, Quebec, H4A 2E8 on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00am.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Cedars Cancer Center at the MUHC for their outstanding care, with special thanks to Fr. Saleh, we are also very grateful for the exceptional care Rosemary received at the ICU ward, special thanks to her nurse Natasha for her gentle and loving care, to the Doctors and nurses from the palliative care unit the family is very grateful to each and everyone for their support and compassion.
Special thanks to Dr. Cheema for being not only a great Doctor but a friend to our family.
