St. Anne’s Veterans Hospital. Loving father of
Steven (Mimi), Sandra (John) and Stanley
(Sandra); and loving grandfather to Amber,
Kayla and Laura. Brother of the late Joan,
Dorothy and Olive. Loving son of the late
William Henry and Olive (nee Collier). He will
also be missed by cousins Miriam and Joyce;
nieces and nephews Dougie (Sheila), Bart
(deceased), Joe, Bill, Joanna and Victor; and
extended family and friends alike. Born in
Verdun, Bill Green, a larger than life character
and a Korean War veteran, served as a
Captain in the Cote St-Luc Fire Department
as well as being a Fireman in the Westmount
Fire Department in earlier years. Bill’s love for
music, especially country-western, was well
known as well as his wit and humour. Funeral
service will take place on Friday, June 2, 2017
at 10 a.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White
(5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal QC)
(condolences one hour prior from 9 a.m. to 10
a.m.), followed by Interment at the Field of
Honour in Pointe-Claire, QC.
