Carol G. Raymond Thompson

Carol was born on September 6, 1937 to Frank and Mildred (Gorman) Raymond in Buchanan, NY. She was an active Ladies Auxiliary member of the Continental Village Fire Department in Garrison, NY for many years. Carol was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to cook and care for her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving sons; Harold Jr., Steven (Linda), Edward Sr. (Cindy) and Robert (Deb) Thompson, beloved brothers; Frank and William Raymond, and her sister Charlotte Travis adoring grandchildren; Faith, Adrienne, Eddie Jr., Jeffrey, Heather, Diane and Robby. Carol is also survived by her 6 great grandchildren; Isabella, Shawn, Kira, Travis, Hannah and Joseph. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold Thompson in 1988.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 13th at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Cremation Services will be private.
